ELECTIONS DEADLINE NOTICE APRIL 30, 2022

Candidacy forms are now available for the upcoming SCOPE general election. All SCOPE general election candidacy/nomination forms and biographical forms must be mailed to the following address:

All candidacy/nomination forms and biographical forms must be postmarked by April 30, 2022. Ballots will be sent back out to you on May 16th, 2022, and will be required to be returned postmarked by May 29, 2021. Ballots will be counted on June 6, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. Location of the ballot-count is to be determined.

Treasurer (2 – year term)

Department Representatives (All use the same form) – 2 year term. Below are the listed available seats.

DRC – 5 seats

DYS – 1 seat

Deaf School – 1 seat

Blind School – 1 seat

State Library/Misc Agencies (AG, BWC, MH) – 1 Seat

Constitution and By-Laws – Changes to be approved at the April 21st Executive Board Meeting

2023 NEA Representative Assembly – Orlando, FL– 3 Delegates (subject to change based on membership numbers; 1-year term)

2022 – 2023 OEA Representative Assembly – 7 Delegates (subject to change based on membership numbers; 1-year term) Meeting dates in Dec 2022 and May 2023
